About the staff
All of our staff are selected based on their education, experience and character. Teachers are Highly Qualified and are trained in counseling techniques, behavior management, CPR and First Aid, and crisis prevention and management.
Our Program Director is available all year long to answer questions, provide information and monitor the summer activities of the students. The Educational Coordinator oversees the Individual Education Plans (IEP) for each student and provides supervision and oversight to the teaching staff. The Clinical Coordinator provides counseling and therapeutic services to students and families; provides training and technical expertise to the educational staff and arranges for psychological/psychiatric services. The school has a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) on site to provide medication monitoring and medical service coordination with local and student-specific health care organizations, parents and students.
Three special education teachers, a recreational therapist, one regular education teacher and a teacher’s aide make up our educational staff. Our administrative assistant is also available to answer your calls and provide you with information about school events and activities. |
